Miniature Macaw

The plumage of these parrots is largely green, but what makes it so spectacular are all the other colors splashed on the body: they have a yellow band around the neck; wing covets are bright blue; the under wings are olive yellow; the tail is light maroon.

These parrots are small in size, compared to other species; they are up to 15 inches in body length including the tail and up to 250 grams in weight.
