These birds come from the South America where they live in tropical forests and savannahs. Compared to other species in the genus, these birds are rather large, with the body length of 29-32 inches and wingspan of 35-40 inches. A blue throated macaw is beautiful as a chick; they are kept in aviaries that act as living quarters.
