Macaw Babies
Macaw babies are lucky to be born into a long life; if it is kept in an aviary, the bird stands the chance of living up to 80 years.
Breeding may occur any time of the year every one or two years. Females lay from 2 to 4 eggs and lay them for 20-30 days. Both parents feed the young until they are totally independent. At the age of 3-4 years these birds are sexually mature.
